Appendix stuffy to the rescue!

My young daughter needed to have her appendix out, and we knew noone else who ever had that done. She had alot of questions, why her? Why did her appendix get sick? I found I Heart Guts and thought it was cute so I ordered her a "new" appendix. She LOVED it, especially the book it comes with that is educational with a great sense of humor. It helped her so much that she raised money and donated appendix stuffies to her surgeon to give to other kids that need their appendix out. I Heart Guts was supportive to her when they heard what she was doing, which is just another way they are amazing!

This makes our heart so happy, Jace! Your daughter is such a brave gal, we're so happy to be able to give her a 'new' appendix and to make her surgery experience easier - and educational! Great for Lightening the Mood

This is the second time we've surprised a loved one with their organ back, plush style.

Having an emergency procedure can really dampen the mood and make life hard. Both times now this has brought much laughter and joy to the patient.

2 organs down, mom says hopefully no more!

My mom had her gallbladder removed six months ago, and recently had to have her appendix removed as well. To make her feel better I’ve purchased both the gallbladder and then decided to purchase the appendix plushy to replace what she’s lost. When she initially got the gallbladder plush, she laughed so hard she said it hurt a little :-D Then after she got the appendix, she said, I love these plushies but hopefully I don’t get gifted anymore to replace any more organs. What she doesn’t know is that soon she’ll be receiving a heart of gold. I love the iHeart guts plushies, and will be finding any excuse to purchase more in the future ;-)
