What Does My Prostate Do All Day?
The prostate makes fluid that feeds and protects sperm! Most of what goes into semen comes from the seminal vesicle glands, seen here atop the prostate. This walnut-sized exocrine gland sits just below the bladder. It’s a real right-hand gland!

Sperm are made in the testicles, then travel through the vas deferens to the prostate, where the seminal vesicles add their special semen sauce to protect sperm from the acidic world of the vagina. Or wherever they end up.
