Geekfest 2013

We worked hard, we played hard, we had a great time at Comic Con International 2013 in San Diego! Pictures are worth a thousand words, so here are my six favorite shots (you can see more on the I Heart Guts Instagram feed) from the week that was, from top left: The best part of my week? Spending five days with one of my oldest and dearest friends, Shelayna, whom I've known since middle school. She's the one with the big, uh, eyes (hey, buddy, my eyes are right here, okay?). Next up, Stormtoother! We were right next to the Walking Dead booth, so there were loads of zombies. Luckily, these guys didn't get a bite of our brains, but they did get photobombed by Waldo. We were also next to the Fox booth, so we saw a lot of celebs signing things for fans -- bladder had to get his pic taken with Kevin Bacon. That's the insulin monitoring kit of one of our fave diabetics, whose pouch was decked out with mad pancreii. Last but not least -- meet OB Gyn Kenobi, who actually was a real OB, posing with our uterus. Great fun, can't wait for 2014.
