Cervix - Pap Star

The cervix connects the uterus to the vagina. During menstruation, the donut-shaped cervix opens to allow blood to pass from the uterus to the vagina. During ovulation, the cervix opens slightly, allowing sperm -- if any's around -- through to the uterus.
