MoMI x I Heart Guts : Draw & Animate the Body Workshop Recap

We did a Drawing ✍️ 🫀🫁🧠 The Body Workshop at the Museum of the Moving Image in NYC last weekend, in conjunction with their medical imaging exhibit: Overexposed: Art, Technology and the Body. The exhibit will run thru January of 2027.

Kid and adult attendees drew, colored, got free stickers, chatted and made stop motion animations (some attendees did a remake of the Odyssey!)

using plushie guts and stickers —- thanks, y'all, I had a great time! I believe the uterus stickers are the sirens...

My daughter and I genuinely had a great time meeting and creating with everyone who came out to hang out with us (and on such a beautiful day, too).

Visit the Museum of the Moving Image next time you’re in NYC, it’s a true hidden gem filled with Muppets, Cheebaccca, Linda Blair prop from The Exorcist and so much more! Take a 👀 next time you're in NYC. Despite having lived in New York for 6 years, I had never had the pleasure -- it's 1000% worth the trek.

Plus if you need plush organs in Queens, they have ‘em in the gift shop while Overexposed: Art, Technology, and the Body Exhibit is on (through Jan 3, 2027).
