Long Lost Friends?

pineal-gland We recently realized your champion of sleep, the pineal gland, has a passing similarity to our good old pals from the 1980s -- The Snorks! The pineal gland is so named because of its pine-cone-like shape. Why are the Snorks shaped the same way? As Retro Junk puts it, "Take a Smurf, stick a snorkel on his head, put him underwater and force him to replace the word "Smurf" with the word "Snork" when he speaks and you've got The Snorks."
