Here's a peek inside the making of our coldhearted heart for our 100 Hearts Project. I had hoped to freeze it inside a larger block of ice, but our freezer was jammed full of pizza, so I had to downsize. The heart started floating up out of the vase when I poured water on it, so I had to jam a lime (not pictured) between the vase and heart to stick him down into his frozen fate. By the next day, he was frozen solid and I pulled him out and let him melt into a pool on our porch. My 4.75 year old son, Bix, wanted to know if the heart was yummy like a popsicle, so he gave it a lick. I think he was disappointed.
