I can’t tell you how delightful it was to share ‘Gary the Gallbladder’ with my Dad. We needed a happy, plush version to replace ‘the very, very dead one’ that needed to come out. He delighted all the nurses, he came with us to imaging, and nurses in the hall delighted in his purple presence.

Our sweet Doctor admired him so much that we presented her with Gary to her great delight.

I mean, if you can’t have fun upgrading from a diseased organ to a purple, smiling version, what fun is there!?
