"My daughter purchased the gallbladder for her dad for Christmas because "he doesn't have one anymore." When he opened the package and saw what it was, he started laughing immediately! We all had tears from laughing!"
- Crystal B.
Amazing, my wife thought it was funny and such a great and thoughtful gift. Recommend it to everyone
Love it idea- laughter is the best medicine and when a gift like the removed or ill organ arrives, it makes me laugh. Great idea
Our insides are doing backflips. We heart that you got a kick out of our stuffed gallbladder pal!
I can’t tell you how delightful it was to share ‘Gary the Gallbladder’ with my Dad. We needed a happy, plush version to replace ‘the very, very dead one’ that needed to come out. He delighted all the nurses, he came with us to imaging, and nurses in the hall delighted in his purple presence.
Our sweet Doctor admired him so much that we presented her with Gary to her great delight.
I mean, if you can’t have fun upgrading from a diseased organ to a purple, smiling version, what fun is there!?
We're laughing, we're crying, we heart your story! So, does Gary now have shared custody between your dad and the doctor? LOL! We're so glad his purple presence could lighten the mood and bring some laughs to the hospital. We hope your new plush is vastly superior to dad's real yet very, very dead GB. May it rest in peace. XOXO from the IHG family!
I provided this to a coworker who recently had his gallbladder removed. He loved it and shared photos of it online and on our work Slack. He didn't know it was even a thing; who gets someone a gallbladder for a get well present? I mentioned he was missing his, so I figured he might need a new one. Thanks for making these; I've never seen anything like it, but I am glad I found it.
Our organs are doing backflips! We're stoked that our insides could offer some laughter and post-op positivity to your coworker. And yup, we've organs for all sorts of ailments, health adventures, and healing journeys. Glad you discovered us!
Got it for my SIL who had hers removed. It caused her a lot of problems so I told her she could hit it back now. She got a good laugh out of it. Her kids love it too!
Fun for the whole fan! Glad your SIL could be reunited with her long lost organ... even if it is in plushie form!
