When a gynecologist customer of ours wrote in to ask if we'd help design some bicycle jerseys for her all-OB/GYN team called the Menstrual Cycles, we almost died from glee. What could be more fun than a uterus on a bicycle? This ranks as one of our fave
not for profit projects ever. Her bike team is riding to help
raise money for Multiple Sclerosis research. For those of you that don't know, MS is a pretty awful disease where the immune system attacks the central nervous system, hence the brain hugging the uterus. She's also going to make a few shirts to continue fundraising for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society after the
Waves to Wine 2009 ride is over (Sept. 12-13 in Northern California), so we'll post a link to those tees once they are available for sale, or better yet,
sponsor their team by making a small donation, or you can ride with them, or just volunteer!
