Bacteria Telling Your Brain What to Eat?

Crunchy, salty chips. A slice of caramel cheesecake. Chocolate fondue. Do you sometimes crave food that makes no sense to you? Could be your intestinal bacteria talking, according to a study that came out in August 2014. Apparently bacteria can influence your Vagus nerve. This important nerve can react to certain bacteria and the chemicals they release. Who knew?
