Hospitalized for the Holidays?
Posted: Friday, December 16th, 2011
Know someone stuck in the ICU this holiday season? We want to send one lucky winner a basket of $100 worth of gutsy goodies of your choice! Just tell us the story of your family member or friend on our Facebook page, why he or she has major guts, and why it sucks to have a hysterectomy for Hanukkah, or a cholycystectomy for Christmas and why they need guts to get better while they are away from family and friends! We’ll also throw in some love for the awesome nurses as well. Gastrointestinal gift basket? Heart care package? The choice is yours! Winner will be chosen at random Dec. 20th, U.S. entries only, sorry international people, good luck!
Race for the Cute

When Breast Team Ever, one of the many teams striving to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure, approached us about making a mammary shirt to help raise some loot, we perked right up! We made the art, they made the shirts and together we raised $2,500 towards breast cancer research. And didn’t they look great doing it, too? Thanks for working with us, ladies!

Could there be any sleeping bag better than the tauntaun sleeping bag? I didn’t think so, until I saw this one. Thank you, Japan, for making the slumber party or campout even better!

Flipping through The Art of Pixar is about as inspirational as it gets for an illustrator, but imagine my excitement when I saw this little doodle of rat guts and human guts by Nate Wragg, one of the artists and animators who worked on “Ratatouille.” So cute!
